I grew up in Camino, California, a small apple town on your way to Lake Tahoe. My Grandmother is a teacher and artist and taught me how to use oils paints when I was young. She ignited my passion for art and the flame just seemed to keep glowing. A few years ago I started painting with acrylics and fell in love with the vibrant, rich colors they produce on canvas. It was a way for me to vent and express things that only I could understand…my diary of sorts. Soon after I held my first art show at a friend’s house and I have been painting furiously ever since.
I enjoy seeing people smile when they look at my paintings, and I believe art should be priced so that everyone can buy and appreciate it in their homes. My dream is to live in a world where peace is an everyday ritual and racisim, greed and hate slowly disappear. My work has many multicultural threads, and I try to capture the beauty of the global community in my colors and figures. There is so much beauty to be captured in this life, I hope my paintings inspire you as well…
