Who I am..
I began painting with my grandmother at an early age and have been creating art ever since. I like to use a lot of rich, vibrant colors. Most people tell me my use of colors draw them to my work. I love painting women and trees. I paint women of all cultures as the warriors they are, whether in activism, motherhood, friendship, or being a source of strength for so many. In painting trees, they remind me to stay grounded and to draw from my roots.
People, travel, color and music all inspire me; it may be a powerful lyric in a song, a person’s life story, or something as simple as a beautiful Oregon day. I want my paintings to make people happy, empowered and at peace.
I see art as a form of therapy for my soul, which is where the name “Kelly’s Art From the Soul” came from. I currently live, teach, and paint in Portland, Oregon. To purchase any of my artwork, please visit my Etsy shop or Fine Art America page, links are below.

Here is one my newest paintings, "Nurture Yourself."
I finished this one on New Year’s Eve. My goal for this year is more mindfulness, setting boundaries, connecting with nature more and giving myself the same love and care I give others. This painting will hopefully remind me of this goal. It's a 20x24" acrylic painting on canvas. I am keeping the original but prints are for sale on Etsy and Fine Art America!

If you are wanting to learn more about painting or you have a kid who is really into art, please reach out! I have done 2-3 sessions and had kids paint art for their rooms, or a family all did a huge canvas together using sponges and paint. Message me so we can discuss further!
I charge $50/hour. $25 deposit required for booking first time. If you cancel within 72 hours, it will not be refunded.Quantity
Paint Pour Party
$200.00
Have a paint pour party with friends, family or colleagues! No art experience needed! Ages 3 and up. Minimum of 8 guests, maximum of 15 for paint pouring. If you are wanting a larger party, just message me first and I can usually accommodate. My largest paint party has been 33 people so far, I just hire help. :)
*Cost- $50 per person for a 12x12" canvas painting, all materials included. Price includes all art supplies needed, direct instruction on paint pouring, set up, take down, plus a "to-go" box for your guests artwork to safely travel home! I will come 30 minutes early and set up the painting area, including drop cloths and tablecloths. $50 extra if outside the Portland, OR area.
*Paint parties are best outside or in an area of the house that can be easily cleaned if a few paint drops spill. I have drop cloths, but you never know. ;p
**There is a required $200 deposit to buy the art supplies needed. The remainder can be paid before the event that day. If customer cancels within 72 hours of the event, the deposit is non- refundable.Quantity
Come Paint With Me! Party

Let me come to your house or location of your choice and be the guest art teacher! I can do a direct paint, where we all paint the same picture, or everyone can get creative with their own art piece and I can guide as needed. Contact me and we can discuss details. * The price is $45 per person for a 12x12" canvas or $60 a person for 11x14" canvas, minimum of 8 people. This includes travel, prep before, set up/clean up and all of the art supplies needed.
